Magic is enjoying a surge of popularity and it can fit into almost any social event. If you are organising a private party, magic fits in fantastically well and gives your guests a talking point. Whether it’s a Birthday party for over a hundred guests or a dinner party for fifteen Richard can provide a professional high quality act comprising of effects and illusions of varying scale that will leave your guests with a lasting impression. Richard can either stroll amongst your guests performing Close-Up Magic or visit each table in between courses of the meal.

The Close-Up Magic Richard performs is award winning in its own right. This type of magic is the art-form in its rawest form. It is magic stripped away from the smoke and mirrors of the stage. It uses small objects such as cards, coins, elastic bands and mobile phones. It provokes a huge reaction from the audience as the miracles happen inches away.
A very popular option has been for Richard to perform Close-Up Magic for small groups then later in the event perform a thirty minute larger scale act for everyone. This act can be done either in a living room or in a stage type situation. The thirty minute act is loaded with comedy and audience participation, it can be custom made depending on the size of the venue.
